2013 Interns
1st year Interns
Hi I’m Ben Howes a first year intern here at Anglesea, I from Wattle Glen Victoria and can’t wait to see what the year will hold. I’m eager to experience more of the Lord in new ways and grow in my faith and character. I’ve been really blessed by the opportunity to be part of this team and looking forward to seeing God at work, building new friendships with the interns and the kid and staff at Camp.
Hi I’m Caleb Lobbe, 18 years old, from Emerald in the Dandenong’s and yes to answer your question I have been on Puffing Billy. I’m excited about the year ahead in which I’m hoping to grow as a person and in my faith whilst exploring my passions for sport and working with the other people. I am thankful for the 12 WATTS program and look forward to gaining independence whilst living away from home and making new friends with the interns.
Hi I’m Liam Cruickshank, I’m an intern here at Camp Wilkin and have high hopes for this year, I have always been keen on sports, so this internship seemed to be the perfect opportunity, despite the distance from home. I’m from Queensland, so this is an exciting time for me, filled with many new faces, experience and places; I’m also looking forward to forming lasting connections with the other interns.
Hi my name is Sam Dainton, I’m 18 and from Buninyong Victoria. I look forward to a good year with a great bunch of people and learning a lot of new skills this year.
Appentice Cook
Hey my name is Rachael Spitteler and I’m from all the way in Sydenham, I’m an apprentice cook at Camp Wilkin this year, I’m looking forward to a year of developing my skills and broadening my knowledge of food and cooking. I’m very excited this year to work alongside such amazing talented people here at Camp Wilkin and the other cool interns too.
2nd year Interns
David Rowbotham. After completing a first year of the internship program, I enjoyed it so much that I had to do a second year. I am most looking forward to more of the spiritual growth that I experienced last year. I am also looking forward to many mountain bike rides both social and a few competitive.
James Manning. Hello again. I’m back for more fun and adventures. Last year was an amazing experience and I wanted to share the experience with new interns in 2013. I've learnt and grown in my knowledge of outdoor recreation and developed my relationship with God. I’m excited to spend this year with all at Camp Wilkin that will bring about more learning experiences and opportunity to grow without injury.
Joshua Holmes I am back for a 2nd year. I enjoyed the internship program last year; I wanted to do the 2nd year to continue growing as a person and develop more leadership skills. I like hanging out with friends and outdoor activities.
